Who operates this website

RebidCo LLC operates rebidco.com. Contact us at contact@rebidco.com for privacy questions, requests, or complaints.

Information we collect

The homeowner form collects your first and last name, email, phone number, full project address, quoted amount, project description, quote concerns, project type, preferred timing, and the fee and privacy agreements you provide. We also record the submission time, consent version, delivery status, and relevant security or privacy choices. Submitting the initial form does not require an account or password. After successful payment, we create or link an account using your project email and send secure setup or sign-in instructions. Private account access requires email verification. If you register, we collect your account role, name, email, password hash, verification status, and account security records. Contractor applications also collect business name, business phone, service area, license or exemption information, and insurance information. We retain approval decisions and credential review dates.

Hosting and security systems may process IP addresses, browser and device information, request times, errors, and access logs. Submission rate limits use an IP-derived security identifier. Hidden spam-trap fields, timing checks, security tokens, input validation, and submission rate limits help protect the form.

Why we use information

We use information to review and respond to your request, arrange the search fee and contractor introductions, operate and secure the website, prevent spam and duplicate submissions, maintain relevant records, and meet legal obligations. A form submission does not subscribe you to unrelated advertising or authorize marketing texts or automated marketing calls.

Emails, records, and service providers

Requests are privately saved before payment. The detailed request is emailed to contact@rebidco.com only after successful payment confirmation. Unpaid submissions remain marked Pending Payment, without a paid-request notification. No document is required or accepted by the current form. A private website copy is retained for authorized administrator review and access through your verified account. Contractors who have purchased authorized access can view the shared information for that project. Hosting, email, security, and backup providers process information to support these activities; our website hosting uses Hostinger. Email copies and attachments may remain in mailboxes and service-provider backups. We do not publish your raw submission or contact details publicly. With your project-sharing permission, invited contractors can review a manually checked brief through a private link or verified account with general location, scope, and quoted amount before purchasing access. Estimate documents submitted through the earlier form remain private; this change does not authorize publishing or forwarding those documents. Separate permission is required before sending a legacy estimate document to an independent contractor.

Contractor introductions and paid leads

Homeowners pay a one-time $95 upfront search fee for RebidCo to review the request and search for qualified local professionals who may beat the quoted price for comparable work. Payment is due before the search begins. The fee pays for the review and search effort and applies even if no lower bid or contractor match is found. No savings, match, minimum number of offers, or particular result is guaranteed.

The project form saves your details as Pending Payment. It does not charge a card. Review your request and complete the separate checkout, when available, to authorize the one-time $95 search fee. A paid-request email is sent to RebidCo after the payment provider confirms success. Unpaid or failed checkouts do not begin the search or trigger a paid-request email. Payment and applicable cancellation/refund terms are presented before payment. Email contact@rebidco.com before the review or search begins with cancellation or refund questions. The absence of a lower bid does not by itself make the search fee conditional on success. Nothing limits nonwaivable cancellation, refund, or other consumer rights.

Participating contractors pay a project access fee of 1% of the original quoted amount, minimum $95 per contractor business. RebidCo has a financial interest in homeowner searches and contractor introductions. Contractor fees and lead conditions are agreed separately before a charge. Payment does not replace qualification requirements or guarantee a project, hire, savings, or better offer.

By checking the required form consent and submitting, you authorize RebidCo to share your name, email, phone, full project address, quoted amount, project description, and quote concerns with up to three RebidCo-approved contractor businesses so they can contact you about this project. Access is limited by contractor business, and refunded access does not increase the maximum number of recipients. The current form collects your description, quote concerns, quoted amount, and fee agreement instead of an estimate document. The initial request form does not collect card or bank account details. When online payments are enabled, Stripe processes payment information through the checkout integration. RebidCo receives payment status, transaction identifiers, order information, and relevant billing information; the website does not intentionally store complete card numbers or card security codes.

Before receiving homeowner details, a contractor must be approved by RebidCo after checks of applicable licensing and insurance and agree to try to improve the existing estimate through price, scope, materials, or terms. These are participation requirements, not a guarantee of workmanship, future coverage, availability, or results. Homeowners should independently confirm current credentials, references, permits, and insurance before hiring.

Contractors are independent businesses and are responsible for their subsequent handling of information and their own communications. We may also disclose information when legally required, in response to valid legal process, to protect rights or safety, or in a business transfer subject to applicable privacy requirements.

Project invitations

We store contractor invitation email addresses, linked account identifiers, secure invitation-token hashes, invitation status, expiry dates, and email delivery status. A contractor who registers with the invited email address can receive the selected project in their verified account automatically. Private invitation links show a reviewed project brief, general location, original quoted amount, and access fee; homeowner contact details remain locked until an approved contractor pays. Unpaid opportunities close after three contractor businesses receive access. Purchased-project and communication records remain subject to the retention and privacy practices below.

Private messages and offers

We store project messages, preliminary offer amounts, conversation participants, timestamps, reports, and blocks in the website database. Access is limited to the homeowner, the authorized contractor in that conversation, and authorized RebidCo administrators. Administrators may review messages for support, safety, disputes, and enforcement. Platform messaging is not end-to-end encrypted. Notification emails contain a sign-in link rather than the message body; email delivery and service-provider logs may retain notification records. Turn message notifications off in your account if desired.

Contractors receive your contact information only after approved access and confirmed payment. They can then contact you through RebidCo or directly. Information already received cannot be technically recalled. You may stop future sharing through the project controls or by contacting us, and report or block platform conversations. Independent contractors remain responsible for their subsequent use and handling of information.

Your privacy choices and rights

Email contact@rebidco.com with the subject “Privacy request” to request access, correction, deletion, or to ask us to stop contacting you or sharing an unfulfilled lead. Include the email used for your inquiry; do not send identification documents unless we request an appropriate verification method. We may need to verify your identity or an agent’s authority. We respond within applicable legal deadlines and explain any exception, denial, or available appeal. We do not retaliate for exercising applicable privacy rights.

Depending on applicable law, paid lead disclosures may be treated as a sale of personal information. You may request that we do not sell or share your information by emailing the same address. We record Global Privacy Control signals received with submissions and flag those requests against release as a contractor lead until applicable privacy choices are resolved. If we cannot lawfully share information, contractor matching may be unavailable. This does not prevent you from asking RebidCo a privacy question directly by email. Rights and legal exceptions depend on your location and which laws apply to RebidCo.

Cookies, tracking, and the home-screen app

The form uses a security cookie and token lasting approximately 20 minutes. An additional random checkout cookie, lasting up to 24 hours, links this browser to the private pending request; project details are stored on the server rather than in that cookie. WordPress login and WooCommerce cart/session cookies also support accounts, sign-in, checkout, and payment security. Blocking cookies may prevent form submission. The current website does not use advertising pixels or cross-site behavioral advertising. A Do Not Track signal does not disable necessary security processing. We respect applicable opt-out requirements, including the Global Privacy Control handling described above.

Installing the optional home-screen web app does not create an account. Its service worker does not intentionally save form submissions in an offline cache. Your browser and hosting provider may retain technical cache or log records.

Retention and security

We keep information only while reasonably necessary to handle the inquiry, maintain relevant business records, resolve disputes, protect against abuse, or comply with legal obligations. We consider the request’s status, sensitivity, purpose, and applicable recordkeeping needs. You may request deletion at the email above. Legal holds and required records may limit deletion; restricted backups and email copies may remain until their normal retention cycles expire.

We use HTTPS, administrator access controls, input validation, and spam controls. Legacy estimate files remain in private storage outside the public web directory. No website, storage system, or email service is completely secure. Remove account credentials, banking information, government identifiers, signatures, access codes, medical information, and unrelated personal information from your description. Provide only project information you are authorized to share. Information may be processed in the United States and other locations used by service providers, subject to applicable requirements.

Children and policy changes

The service is intended for adults age 18 and older and is not directed to children. Contact us if a child submitted personal information. External websites operate under their own policies. We will update the effective date when this policy changes and provide additional notice or obtain consent when required.
